dyearyThese terms govern your use of the dyeary app and service. By creating an account or using dyeary, you agree to them. The short version: your journal is yours, be a reasonable human, and dyeary is a journaling tool, not a medical service.
dyeary is a voice-first journaling app. It records entries you choose to make, transcribes them, and derives summaries and mood readings to help you reflect over time. dyeary is operated by an independent developer (Affan Khokhar).
You need an account to use dyeary. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for what happens under it. You must be at least 13 years old. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app, which permanently removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Your journal belongs to you. dyeary claims no ownership of your entries, recordings, or anything derived from them. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the service: to store your content, process it to provide dyeary’s features (transcription, summaries, mood readings), and display it back to you. We never use your journal content to train AI models or for advertising.
dyeary shows reflections about your moods based on your own words and voice. It is a journaling tool for self-reflection. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical or mental-health advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional care. If you are struggling, please reach out to a qualified professional, or to an emergency service if you are in crisis.
dyeary Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple. Prices and terms are shown in the app before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple account; subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your device’s Settings → Subscriptions. Free trials, when offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.
Don’t misuse the service: no attempting to access other people’s journals, no probing or disrupting our systems, no using dyeary to violate the law, and no automated or resale use of the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do these things.
We work to keep dyeary reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Features may change as the app evolves. If we ever discontinue the service, we will make reasonable efforts to give you notice and time to export your journal.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, dyeary and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we do, we will revise the date above, and material changes will be reflected here before they take effect. Continuing to use dyeary after changes means you accept them.
